NOCAP was founded in 2020 as one of the first platforms connecting college athletes and brands in the newly opened NIL era. As the space evolved, a bigger problem came into focus: the system itself was broken. Fragmented, inefficient, and built on a model that had profited off athletes for decades while undermonetizing the entire ecosystem.

So we stopped trying to fix it and started building a new one.

Today, NOCAP Sports is the commercial infrastructure layer connecting universities, brands, alumni, fans, and athletes into one unified ecosystem. With 60+ university athletic department partners across Power 4 conferences and beyond.

It didn’t take long to see the limitations of the traditional NIL marketplace.

It left universities without solutions to growing financial pressures.

It couldn’t give brands scalable, repeatable ROI.

And it couldn’t deliver lasting earning power for athletes.

This realization sparked the evolution of NOCAP into what it is today. NOCAP has evolved from a single point solution marketplace into the infrastructure powering the athlete-led economy, a unified ecosystem connecting universities, athletes and brands in a continuous value loop. Today, we’re driving revenue, building long-term equity, and redefining the economics of college sports.
