Through this partnership, NOCAP Sports will connect Xavier-affiliated businesses, alumni, and decision-makers with a curated portfolio of vetted national service providers across key operational categories, including payment processing, employee benefits, payroll, energy consulting, and business operations. When participating businesses choose to work with these providers, a portion of the resulting revenue flows directly back to Xavier Athletics — creating a new funding stream at no additional cost to the business.
Built for institutions with strong alumni engagement and business influence, NOCAP Sports’ model helps universities transform everyday purchasing decisions into long-term financial support for athletics programs. At Xavier, this initiative will activate the broad Musketeer network of alumni, supporters, and business leaders who are already making strategic operational decisions, turning routine business activity into meaningful, recurring revenue for student-athletes and athletic programs.
“Xavier is exactly the type of institution this model was built for — a passionate, close-knit alumni base with strong business influence,” said Adam Gunn, COO of NOCAP Revenue. “The Musketeer community has a real opportunity to generate impactful recurring revenue for Xavier Athletics simply by optimizing decisions they’re already making. It creates value for businesses while directly supporting the future of Xavier Athletics, and we’re excited to bring this initiative to Cincinnati.”
The partnership is designed to complement — not replace — Xavier’s existing fundraising, sponsorship, and revenue-generation efforts by creating an additional support channel that does not require new donations or increased spending from alumni and supporters.
“Xavier has an incredibly engaged network of alumni, supporters, and business leaders, and this partnership creates another meaningful way for that community to support our student-athletes,” said Brian Hicks, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations at Xavier. “We are focused on identifying creative, sustainable solutions that enhance the long-term success of our programs, and NOCAP aligns well with that vision.”
Xavier-affiliated business owners, alumni, and decision-makers are encouraged to explore partnership opportunities by completing a short interest survey. There is no obligation to participate, and the process is designed to identify solutions that may already strengthen their business operations while simultaneously supporting Xavier Athletics.
As college athletic departments continue to seek innovative and sustainable revenue strategies, partnerships like this position universities to unlock new value from the communities already invested in their success.
